La traviata (2019)

Recorded live at the Royal Opera House on 30 January 2019, this production of Verdi's La Traviata features Aigul Akhmetshina in a supporting role as Flora Bervoix, alongside Ermonela Jaho as Violetta, Charles Castronovo as Alfredo and Plácido Domingo as Giorgio Germont. Directed by Richard Eyre and conducted by Antonello Manacorda, the production was released on Blu-ray and DVD by Opus Arte in November 2019, and captures Akhmetshina early in her career at the Royal Opera House, in the years before her breakthrough as Carmen.
